Join us for a highly informative, one-hour webinar presentation featuring David Bonaccorsi, Esq. a Partner with the law firm of Bernard, Balgley & Bonaccorsi, LLP on Tenant Eviction Bans And Rent Deferral Moratorium during COVID-19. These eviction bans prevent Landlords from going to court to evict tenants except in limited circumstances and in many cases allow Tenants to defer rent for many months. Mr. Bonaccorsi will also answer your questions with an interactive Zoom Q & A session after he completes his presentation.
Governor’s March 27th Executive Orders (EO) authorizing County and City eviction bans and rent deferrals and upcoming September 30 deadline
County and City Residential and commercial tenant moratoriums or ordinances throughout the Bay Area and California
Alameda County eviction ban and rent deferral ordinance for residential tenants that replaces City ordinances
Possible future action by the California Judicial Commission and the State Legislature impacting eviction bans and rent deferrals

Speaker: David P. Bonaccorsi, Esq.
David Bonaccorsi is a partner with the law firm of Bernard, Balgley & Bonaccorsi, LLP and has practiced law in Fremont and Newark since 1987. Mr. Bonaccorsi grew up in Fremont, graduating from Washington High School. He attended Santa Clara University, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree, and then cum laude from the Santa Clara University School of Law. Mr. Bonaccorsi served as a former Fremont Council member on the Fremont City Council (2017-18). Previously he served 10 years on the Fremont Planning Commission and was twice elected Planning Commission Chair. In addition to representing commercial and residential landlords in private practice, Mr. Bonaccorsi was on the Fremont City Council when it addressed the issue of rent stabilization and reformed its Rent Review Ordinance. Mr. Bonaccorsi is the legal advisor for the Chinese American Real Estate Association and has made presentations to CAREA and the Bay East Association of Realtors on AB 1482, the new Tenant Protection Act.
